QLDC's 2020/21 Annual Report records total capital expenditure of $105.3m, 'below estimate by $89.0M' (p.10), partly due to 'delays in the approval process for major transport improvements in Queenstown' (p.12). Carry-forwards of $45.06m include Queenstown Street Upgrades, arterial Stage 1, the Wakatipu Active Travel Network and the arterial balance of route (p.15). The $85m Shovel Ready contribution enabled arterial stage one (p.5), $0.7m was spent on parking options analysis (p.9) and the Queenstown Transport Business Case was approved (p.51). The only cableway reference is to the existing Skyline gondola cableway in a rockfall context (p.43).
