Appendix C3 Frankton and Ladies Mile Drawings (Queenstown Business Case – Frankton Works / Frankton Improvements, Concept Design)
These are WSP concept design drawings for the Frankton and Ladies Mile elements of the 2020 NZUP Queenstown Detailed Business Case (Appendix C3). An overview plan (C-5001) keys zones Z01-Z10 from Humphrey Street and Kawarau Road through the SH6/6A (BP) intersection and Frankton Flats to Ladies Mile. Zone sheets show Ladies Mile and Stalker Road bus improvements, the Hawthorne Drive intersection, Grant Road to Joe O'Connell Drive and the SH6 link to Hansen Road, the Grant Road intersection, the Frankton (SH6/6A) intersection, and the SH6/Kawarau Road bus hub (Option 1, with an outlined 'future bus hub expansion' area). Further sheets show SH6/Lucas Place and Humphrey Street. Sheets are marked Final, mostly dated 16/11/2020. No mass rapid transit station, MRT alignment or corridor protection is shown, including on the bus hub sheet.

Content: Page 1 is the divider and page 2 the overview plan C-5001 (Rev C Final) keying zones Z01-Z10. Pages 3-6 cover Ladies Mile Highway and the Stalker Road/SH6 bus improvements (sheets 1-3). Page 7 is the Hawthorne Drive intersection, pages 8-10 Grant Road to Joe O'Connell Drive, the SH6 link between Hansen Road and Grant Road, and the SH6/Grant Road intersection. Page 11 is the Frankton (SH6/6A) intersection and page 12 the SH6/Kawarau Road bus hub (Option 1), which shows an outlined 'Future bus hub expansion' area. Page 13 is SH6/Lucas Place and pages 14-15 Humphrey Street. The drawings show bus lanes, signalised and roundabout intersections and crossings.
Mass rapid transit: No mass rapid transit station, MRT alignment or corridor protection is shown. TN19 (APX_B23, p.5) had scoped 'options to incorporate future potential gondola station' at the Frankton hub, but the bus hub sheet (p.12) shows only the bus facility and a future bus hub expansion area.
