Queenstown Airport 10-Year Strategic Plan FY23–FY32

Official QAC copy (queenstownairport.co.nz). The September 2022 approval date comes from QAC's own statements; the PDF itself was created on 13 Sep 2022.

Queenstown Airport Corporation's (QAC) ten-year strategic plan, approved in September 2022, assumes the airport keeps operating within its existing noise boundaries. It plans for 1.6 million arriving passengers (3.2 million passenger movements) by FY32 through a $300 million capital programme (p8). It notes that the pre-COVID peak was 18,000 aircraft movements and 2.4 million passenger movements, and that the existing terminal can handle about 2.2 million movements before the passenger experience suffers. It expects 3.2–3.5 million movements by 2032 and assumes no new international airport in the lower South Island before then (p10).
