GHD memo – SH6/SH6A intersection review (Rev 4, 16 August 2023)
GHD's review for NZTA (Waka Kotahi) of the traffic modelling and design for the SH6/SH6A intersection at Frankton. It records the change from the business case's signalised roundabout to conventional signals, partly to limit land take. It concludes the design adds some capacity and supports the mode shift strategy, and is appropriate 'if implemented in the context of a wider programme of interventions'.
